Tennis Courts to Poolside...

We had another great weekend at home! Are you getting tired of hearing that? TOOO BAD! Life is good here at the Palmer house! Friday we went to Abby's 4th Birthday party at the big park down the street from our house. It was a Twillerbee party complete with fairy wings for all the kids! The bigger kids painted pots that they could put their very own flowers in. And the party planted a flowering tree at the park! It was so precious! Savannah had a blast watching all the big kids play!
Daddy Kevin was also in a big tennis tournament this weekend he did SO well and won the whole thing! So we spent several days at the Terrell Mill Tennis Center watching him kick some serious butt! We had lots of fun! Then Saturday afternoon we went to the Denson's house to swim at their pool! Their girls are adorable and we had a blast! They had their friends their who had a precious little girl named Maggie. They all had a great time, I love to watch Savannah play with other girls her age. They interact in a different way than boys. Much more competition. Alpha female maybe?

It was a wonderful weekend...enjoy the pics of the week!

Weekend #2 in Augusta!

We had another great weekend in Augusta with the Willis fam! I played two matches of tennis and Savannah and Brody got to play! I was an idiot and forgot my tennis shoes so I had to play my first match in my running shoes. I run in Nike Shocks so if you've seen these you know they have an odd heel to them. I rolled my ankle in the beginning of the second set and then took a serious spill a few minutes after that. I'm not very graceful so falling isn't uncommon but I really messed up my ankle. Anyway $100 dollars later I had new tennis shoes and took a few ibuprofen. I was able to play my next match and pull out a win. It was a fun time, eventhough my team didn't win.

I think Savannah misses Brody now that she's home, they kept each other very entertained. They play so well together! I think they pick up things from each other each time. Last week it was "uh oh". She says "uh oh" all the time now. She definitely got that from Brody. We hope Brody doesn't pick up the "oh shit" we hear her say all the time. We know that's not was she means (well we hope) but she does say it at the most opportune times! Brooke got a huge kick out of it!

Here are some cute pics of the babies at the park before the down pour came and made everyone sprint to the car.
I love Brody's wagon!

Peek a Boo! I see you!

Until next week!

I heart Brody

Hello all! We had such a fun weekend in Augusta celebrating Brody Bears First Birthday! The party of course (Brooke is beyond amazing when it comes to party planning, HELLO my wedding!) complete with a handmade cardboard bear house, to honey mustard pasta salad (get it honey and bears?), handmade bear pinwheels, to teddy grahams, a gigantic parachute, sidewalk chaulk...now I know why Savannah was exhausted! It was so much fun she promptly took a 3 hour nap and tonight I had to put her to bed an hour early. She was trying to play with her toys laying down or resting her head on her arms. She just couldnt stay awake anymore! Savannah and Brody really bonded this time and it was SO cute. I think Savannah might have a tiny crush on Brody. And who wouldnt he's the cutest little thing ever!! The evidence is in the last picture. She just couldnt stop kissing him...over and over. Brody wasn't sure what to do (she was being pretty pushy about it!), but they finally locked lips and we were cracking up! Such a great time. AND we're going back next weekend! I have a state tennis tournament and Brooke and Adam were gracious enough to let us stay with them again! I'm so excited! I also posted a picture of Savannahs new growth poster that my mom got Savannah. We made her first note on the chart! She's getting SO big! Love to all! Enjoy the pics... Don't forget you can click on the photos to enlarge them! XOXO
I'm having the best birthday ever!

Did you miss us?

I know, you've probably wondered where we've been! It's been a CRAZY 3 weeks. I went to Cali for my bestie friend Kendall's bachelorette. We had a blast laying by the pool and doing other things I wont really talk about on Savannahs baby blog! I came back here for a week to crazy sales meetings and a very long to do list. Then the family and I headed west again for Kendalls wedding! It was amazing! The wedding was gorgeous but not as gorgeous as the bride! I'm so happy for Kendall and Kevin! They are the most precious couple ever! Love you guys! We left Savannah with her Meme and Baba while we were at the wedding and they loved it. She was an angel as always, and it was great for them to bond with her one on one. When we got back we were able to take Savannah to their club to swim and play in the water. She is such a water bug! That girl would splish and splash all day long. We took a ton of pictures as always. I've included a few from home with her splashing on her water table or on her splash mat. Its been a great few weeks but we're glad to be home with nothing to do this weekend! Enjoy the pics!
