Beating the Summer Heat

Summers in North Georgia don't lack heat so we often play in the water to keep cool. Here are some of us playing in the yard, going to the "sprayground", and Easton at his swimming lessons. He's been taking them from Ms. Jodi just like Savannah did and guess what? That boy is a guppie as well, he can swim on his own at 2 years old! He sure does make me proud! Savannah likes to go with as well and help Ms. Jodi teach. She's such a big girl! They are growing up so fast and I love to watch them bond and play together. I also like to watch them bond with the dogs. Goose and Savannah are pals! He loves to sneak into her bed and cuddle. She can sleep all night with that boy!

Last Day of School and End of year swim Partayyy!

Well I'm the worst blogging mom EVER. But as long as I get these up eventually and print them into the books that's still good right? Considering this was in late May and I'm now posting it in November...if you follow me on Facebook or Twitter this is old news.

This is Savannah bug on her last day of school. The side by side below is her first day of Pre K and her last day. Man does this girl love school! We lucked out with Ms Judith and Ms Marie. They were the most loving and creative teachers! I hope E gets them!! She made some amazing friends in her class (and I can say that and mean it because I'm 6 months in the future ha!). She is just smitten with Lydia, Ryder, Hamp, and Beau. She loved playing Skylanders with them on the playground. The class was so close that a mom (Stryders mom...yes there was a Ryder and a Stryder stay with me) had a pool party at their house to celebrate great friends and a fun year. There are some great pics from that afternoon!

There was a slide!!

The heat led us to play outside in the yard. We pulled out the slip and slide, the water table, and the pools and had all kinds of redneck fun! We also had fun hanging out with Adam and swimming before he was set to head to BAMA to start his conditioning and summer school. The kiddos sure love him! We even made him a special Birthday cake! ROLL TIDE!

Until next month....or whenever I have 5 minutes to post! ;)

May Fun and the Hungry Caterpillar Play!

Easton is such a big boy now. He loves his story time and playing outside. It's amazing to watch him grow up and talk more and more every day. He such a smart loving boy.

At the end of school we were able to come watch the class perform the Hungry Caterpillar play. They did it every day for a month so each kids had the change to be the caterpillar. In this play Savannah was the Strawberry. So cute!

We went to the first Alabama Spring game and got to see #99 Adam kick the ball like a rockstar! The kids loved seeing him play and they had fun at the Bama house playing in the yard and meeting the neighbors!

The kids had their yearly check ups. Perfect health and of course Easton is off the charts. She literally couldn't chart his height. Our big boy!

Day at the Farm and Cute butts!

I'm almost caught up! The last week of school Savvys class had a "Day at the Farm". There were all kinds of games, animals, and a picnic.

Also below a funny pic I snapped of the naked kiddos walking through the hall in daddy's shoes and another spectacular sunset at the house. We were also able to bring home the class ant farm one day. It was super cool it projected the image of the ants on the ceiling as they crawled around.

Poor Lady seems to be doing better after they got the 1/2" stick out of her eye! Yowza. Her Tball pictures are also below. Go Cracker Jacks!

Day Out with Thomas!

When I found out that Thomas was coming to Chattanooga I just knew we needed to take the kiddos. The day proved to be VERY rainy and cold but we made the best of it. Thomas came to an old railroad where there were a lot of other trains to look at. We even were able to take a short ride on Thomas! We went with Ani, Brian and they cousins Jayce and Kylie. It was a fun day pretending we were on Sodor! We really liked Sir Topam Hat too. He didn't talk but he posed for a pic with Savvy! Afterwards we went to a delish lunch at PF Changs...I can't complain. It was a good day!

Until Next Week!
Love, The Palmers
