I missed my loves SOOO much while I was in NYC for work. 8 days is a looooong time to be away from home! It was an exhausting trip and the weather was COLD...I did however get to see my NYC ladies so that was a plus! We went out to a wonderful dinz and had great talks. I love spending time with them! Kevin took great care of Savannah and the dogs while I was gone, and when I went in to get her out of bed Thursday morning (after a 3 hour delay in NY UGH) she said "Hi Mommy, I missed you!" Awww!! My heart melted and I gave her the kinda hug that squeezes the wind out of her! She's been telling me "Mommy airplane in sky!", apparently they talked to her about how I flew to NYC a bit while I was gone. Now she thinks I'm always on a plane...lol. It was soo great to be back, you really appreciate home when you're away.
Before I left we had Andy our friend take Savannahs 2 year photos. They turned out so great!! He really captured her personality. We took the Elmo outfit pics for her Birthday Invitations and Thank You cards. Her party is the 27th of March, I can't wait! I'm definitely more excited than she is!
I've also posted some pics of our little dress up queen. She loves to dress up in scarves and tutu's and Marley doesn't escape it either. The other day she was sitting at her table with her tea set (from the Willis's THANKS!) and she kept yelling at Marley to "SIT and EAT DINNER MARLEY!" I had to explain to her that Marley can't sit on her chair, but she wasn't buying it. She's been obsessed with coloring lately, she really can go through those crayons! If you color with her you can only use the color crayon she wants you to use, and when she decides your done....you're done. This girl knows what she wants! Oh and funny story...so Kevin and I had just gotten home from work and we were in the bedroom changing out of our work clothes. Savannah climbed on our bed and we put cartoons on for her. Kevin announced he was going to take a shower but after he said that he climbed on the bed to pester Savannah. She had a paci in her mouth and was watching TV so when he started to pull her paci out and tickle her she says without a sideways glance "Daddy go take a shower!" and pointed to the shower!! HA HA HA HA HA! The look on his face was priceless, he said "did you hear that? She just ordered me in the shower!" Ahhh kids say the darndest things!! Enjoy the pics!
