Savannah's First Christmas In California!

Our trip so far has been fabulous! And it's not even over! We started our vacation in San Diego with our family there. Our flight was WONDERFUL, we were both ugraded to First Class which made the trip much easier and must I say more comfortable! So needless to say our little girl has traveled out west twice, to New York, and now has flown in style in First Class...all before her 1st birthday! My sister Christina's boys Hunter and Bennett are so big! So were Grant and Zoe! On Saturday my Aunt, Uncle, cousins and their kids (Maya and Elijah) came down from LA too! Savannah got her fill of baby playdates! Christmas Eve and Christmas were filled with lots of fun family activities...scrabble...eating...opening presents....eating....playing with babies...eating...you get the picture. Savannah got lots of amazing presents from Santa and the family. It was a very memorable first Christmas!
THEN...we started all over again! We flew up north to Lake Tahoe on Friday to start our holiday all over again! We had the whole nine...Christmas dinner...presents...playing in the snow...what a great time! We've played lots of games by the fire, looking at old pictures from Christmas pasts, and spent great quality time together. Yesterday and today we took Savannah out in the snow to sled, and play. SHE LOVED IT! We got some great pics and vids of that!
I'll try to limit the pics to the best ones but its soooo hard! There are a ton of good ones! So here are the best. When we get back home I'll download them all to shutterfly...there are literally hundreds!
Happy New Year's Eve all! Savannah will really party hardy tonight!

Sloan's 1st Birthday Party! We had a special Visitor!

We went to Sloan's Birthday on Saturday. It was lots of fun! Lots of little babies to play with, and there was a surprise visitor! Santa came!! It was pretty funny because most of the kids and babies were terrified of Santa. But NOT Savannah. She sat right in his lap and checked him out. She wasnt afraid in the least! We got some cute shots of her and Santa! It was a great time. Happy Birthday Sloan!

Savannah's Modeling Debut

A friend of mine has some items for sale on Etsy and she asked if Savannah would model her items. "OF COURSE!" I exclaimed...after all she is the most gorgeous baby in the universe. Even if I'm a tad biased, I know she is super cute because everywhere we go everyone oohss and ahhhs over her. I'm not lying it took twice as long at Target yesterday because people kept stopping to say hello and smile at her. She of course is a ham like her momma and smiles, waves, reaches out to every complete stranger. This child has no fear or anyone or anything. That was my mom gush for the morning.

Anyway...check out the pics on her Etsy page!

The fam crammed in our living room.

We had the Palmer family over for an early Christmas Thursday night since we wont be here for the real deal. We had a great time! And as suspected Savannah loved the wrapping paper more than anything else! I got a Dyson vacuum which I was verrrry excited about. You know your getting old when your Christmas list consists of a vacuum, and a robe. Ha ha! Gotta love it! Dog hair and cookie crumbs don't stand a chance now! Kevin was set up with some mighty nice clothes that will be great for our trip. We head west on Tuesday! First so So Cal then to Nor Cal! Sunny So Cal is sure to be nice, and its dumping snow in the mountains. Savannah is going to LOVE the snow! I can't wait to see my family and friends. Its been WAY too long! We're going to our friends Brian and Robins house for their little girls Sloans 1st Birthday in a bit. I can't wait for Savannah to interact with all the other little babies!

Love and Kisses!

Get it done while she naps...

I'm sitting here...assembling Christmas cards, writing a blog post, downloading pictures, making appetizers for a Christmas party tonight, and shoveling pizza into my mouth. No wonder god made women multi taskers. All this must be fit into the wee hour and a half she naps. Everytime I see her move on the video monitor I hold my breath "please don't wake up yet!! I'm not finished!" Ahh another day in mommy-hood.

Our little giggle monster is happy as ever. Here are some fun videos of her. If you only watch one, watch the first. The "I'm going to get you" game is her fave and this night she was rolling in laughter...which made me laugh...which made us laugh harder.

This is from Thanksgiving. I don't NORMALLY let her roll all over the kitchen floor but I had to cook and dad was hanging Christmas lights...Boss came to watch over her. You can see I had laid out a blanket for her, but he took it over.

I love this one. She wakes up all smiles an giggly. Then she gets impatient because she wants me to pick her up.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Love,
The Palmers

Precious!

We had another wonderful week! Man its COLD here. We had several nights where it got down into the teens...Brrrr! I'm so not loving that. I have Kevin make a huge fire everynight and Savannah and I play near it in the living room. I love this time of year though, with the fire, the Christmas lights, the holidays. Its so warm and cozy. SO although I don't love the cold, we like cuddling up in the house knowing its cold outside.

We gave Savannah an early Christmas gift. Its a Chicco play table. She's been so into climbing and pulling up on stuff that we thought it would be fun to watch her play with it. She really loves it! We did decide however that someone on drugs programmed all the noises and songs. Its super creepy and weird. But it seems to make her happy!

Enjoy our pics of the week!

Our little girl is 8 MONTHS!

This is what happens when I can get into my toy box and take everything out!
SMILING AS ALWAYS!

I'm on the move!

I can't even believe it...she's 8 months old! I know I'm biased but she's the most beautiful, smart, cuddly, lovable, baby ever! How'd we get so lucky?? She's crawling like a champ, nothing is safe. She's learned to give kisses mouth wide open of course. She's just perfect. We couldnt ask for anything more! My guess for her stats are she's about 19.5lbs and 28.5 inches. Long and lean as always. We've really had an amazing 8 months. She's been in perfect health, not even ONE cold (knock on wood) she's hit every milestone early or right on target. We're very blessed.
So happy 8 months my beautiful baby girl! I look forward to a zillion more months watching you grow, laugh, learn, and morph into the beautiful girl I can already see shining through! Kisses and Hugs!
Love,
Your proud parents.
