Babe Update!

Just a quick update of our past two weeks. We went to the Marietta Farmers Market two weekends ago on Saturday. What a great market. I bought a ton of scrumptious goodies and the kids loved all the music and excitement going on. They had cotton candy and Savannah had to partake in that of course. It was a great morning with the kids. Then this past Sunday Savannah and I went to lunch and to see BRAVE! Girls day! I had no idea that movie was based on a mother-daughter relationship. What a great story where the female heroine isn't only trying to get a man. She's fighting for her independence! Way to go DISNEY! We went straight to Target right away to get a Merida toy. What a fun Sunday!

Easton is walking great now all over the house and consequently getting four new teeth...such fun! No rest for the weary in this house! Work has been insane, I think I've said this before? We really look forward to the weekends. Is it only Tuesday?...Oyyyy
The kid loves carrots what can I say?
Always love this plate. I can't help that its a challenge to make a great face.
The seats at the theater to see Brave swallowed her up!

Summa Summa Tiiiiime!

First let me say that the little man is off and runnin...we were ready for him to start walking but...running? Oh wow! He's into everything! We baby proofed the whole house with Savannah and she never got into anything. So we took it all down and threw it away...ugh regretting that now. Easton wants anything he shouldn't have. The remote, the tv, the glass in the cabinet, the basement door, the toxic chemicals under the sink...god help us. All we say is "Easton..NO NO!". He's relentless!

In the past few weeks Savannah has done Cheer camp, Twirl Camp, Music camp, and this week we have a break. She's loved them all. We have swim camp, tennis, and soccer in our sights. She's really getting into these this year. Twirl camp had a performance that we went to that I took pics of below. Shake your tail feathers! Savvy and I also went for our FIRST pedicure together. It was so fun. She really was apprehensive to start but she loved it.

And lastly Savvy sees me run a lot and on last Sunday she saw me putting on my running shoes and she asked to run with me. I explained that Mommy runs FAR (kinda a lie) and she said ok she'd do it too. Well she put on her running stuff and she ran a whole mile. Like she didn't stop...I was so proud. I kept snapping pics the whole way. My little girl is a runner. She made momma so proud!

Nana and Grandpas in Nor Cal!

We headed west last week to Nor Cal to visit Nana and Grandpa. We haven't flown with the kids in awhile so we weren't sure what we were in for. Let's just say the ride there was an adventure! Shortly after take off Easton gagged on a goldfish and threw up...like really threw up all over Kevin, the seat, and Savannah. I used every wipe we had packed to clean them off. Keep in mind you can't get up during take off. Savannah kept threatening to throw up herself because of the smell. Thankfully she didn't toss her cookies. After that the kids were pretty good. Easton doesn't like to sit still so he was a bit of a challenge but a bag of goldfish, two thousand cookies, and 3 bottles of milk...we were almost there. Thats when Easton peed out of his diaper and it leaked all over himself and Kevin. Hence the photo below. All out of clothes we were that family with the kid in only a diaper. Classy. We finally made it though and we had a great time. We visited Fairy Tale land in Sacramento which is basically a HUGE playground all themed with fairy tales you grew up hearing. Savannah LOVED it! She had this key that she could put in at each fairy tale to hear a song or a story. We also were able to make a dream catcher! After that we walked over to Funderland and went on a bunch of rides. The weather was great the whole time we were there so we swam and swam. Savannah was so tired at the end of the day she would crash when it was still light outside! On Sunday Marc and Rocky drove in from the city swam with us and ate dinner. My mom cooked and amazing feast! It was a great to see them!! The flight home was uneventful thank goodness! It was a fab trip wish we could do it more!
