She's such a Ham!

I love this new play space!
Momma is obsessed with her Babycook!
I love to eat veggies!
I love to climb!
Our little girl is such a ham! You show her the camera and she flashes a smile! All you have to do it pick it up. I think it has to do with the fact that I've taken over 2000+ pics of her since the day she was born. I love taking photos of her, I just can't help it! Here are the latest pics and videos of the past 2 weeks.

We've recently moved our coffee table out. Best thing we ever did. We were so worried about the corners and her hurting herself that it made perfect sense! We'd spend every moment going "yikes", "watch out", "be careful"...NO MORE! I love having the extra play space and Savannah loves it too! As you can see from the pics!

The Baby cook...possibly the best gift I've ever received. I love to make Savannahs baby food from scratch. But its soooo hard! This new gadget makes it so simple! It steams and blends in one pot! I make several meals for her a day and she absolutely loves it! I told my mom I need to join Babycook anonymous because I can't help but think what can I steam next? I've made her everything from cauliflower her new fave to green beans, broccoli, plums, apples...you name it. She loves it all! Best gift ever! I attached a pic of me steaming some food. I know it's lame but I have to show off my new prize posession!

Here are the videos!

This is a video of the first big snow in Calhoun!

I love this video. You just have to watch to see all the fun stuff! Here is a fun hint, at the end she makes an animal sound!

It was actually warm here today! If you count a high of 63 warm, which we do because our recent highs have been in the teens! I was sooo excited I could hardly stay at work! We played on the porch and enjoyed the warmth! Savannah was thrilled with new things to pull up on!

I've also posted some pics from last weekend with Kevin giving Savannah kisses through the glass door. She sure loves her daddy!

until next week!

She does tricks!

We have so much fun with Savannah these days when it comes to her new "tricks". She's been waving for about a month and a half now. She caught on quick, probably because I stand there and wave goodbye for like 5 minutes every morning. Then again at lunch...I hate saying goodbye!

She learned to clap very soon after the waving....She claps at anything that makes her happy. I love wathching her get excited and clap! After these fun actions we couldn't wait to see what else was next. She then started "so big" where she raises up her arms like Elmo in the children's book she loves so much. And in the last 2 weeks we have a new one, which I have yet to put on film. When you say "hello" she puts her hand, her toy phone, or anything really to her ear like she's answering the phone. Its SO funny. We always let her "talk" to her grandparents on the phone or me or daddy if we're away from her. Its cute to watch her light up with joy to hear the voice on the other end.

The past few weeks she's been sounding out what are almost words...when she see's the dogs she says "da". Doesn't quite get the "g" in there but its amazing she's associated the two. And of course "mama" and "dada".

Also something new in the past two weeks is stranger anxiety...she clings to me and buries her head when people (who are usually family or friends) try to say hello. It's pretty cute, and I can't help but love that the only person who comforts her is momma. But I do make sure I let the other person hold her and show her that its ok. The new stages she goes through are so fun and interesting to watch and learn from.

Here are some videos I finally uploaded. These are both from our trip to Lake Tahoe at Christmas. The uploading and converting process is tedious, which is why it takes me so long to put them on here!

This vid is of Savannah clapping, and doing "so big"

This is of Savannah playing peek-a-boo with my mom AKA Nana. She was cracking up, she thought Nana was sooo silly!

We took some fun videos last night in the snow. Hopefully I get those up before she's 1! Ha ha! Enjoy the latest update!

New Savvy Videos!

Its been forever since I've posted videos of the little bean. She's so active now its hard to keep her in the frame. She crawls like lightining, and she pulls up on EVERYTHING! Everything then becomes a potential hazard so your constantly keeping things from toppling over. Its exhausting!

I took this first video on the night we returned from California. It shows how she repeats pulling up, then falling down over and over. Each time it's newly exciting! Its like you can see the wheels turn in her head as she decides to let go and fall.

This is of Savannah playing with her new computer! My mom got her this baby keyboard and game that sits over the top of your desktop keyboard. It's so awesome! At this stage it just makes fun noises and sounds when she hits the keys. But as she grows it teaches shapes, colors, and numbers! She'd been playing on it for about 15 min so by the time we grabbed the camera her attention span was slimming. But its still pretty cute!

This last video is from last night. We had two families of deer in our yard. This is why I love living in the country! The wildlife are in your backyard! There were two mommys and two babies. So cute. I know its hard to see but we just had to share!

Enjoy the videos!

Savannah's 9 Month Photoshoot!

Well everytime Sara manages to impress me more! We had Savannah's 9 month photos taken on Saturday. I just love how the pics turned out. The first outfit she's in my mom and Ed got her for Christmas. The dress is a knit gold yarn which is so precious, and it has a little faux fur shawl and hat. So cute! Next we took pics in a hat my friend Tammy knitted her! I LOVE the hat, and I couldnt find a good outfit to compliment it. SO we took those naked! And lastly we took a bath, which happens to be her absolute favorite! She literally tries to swim in the bathtub, belly down. She'll for sure be swimming by the end of next summer! The big rubber ducky she has was actually mine when I was a baby. So it meant a lot to have pics of her taken with it! Enjoy the slideshow!

Savannah's 9 month "Well Baby " Check up!

We had Savannah's 9 month check up today! Goodness Gracious I cannot believe my little baby is 9 months! I know I know...I've said this about every month...but really where does the time go? She is now 19.6 lbs and 28 1/2 inches! Same percentiles again! 50% for weight and 75th percentile for length! Still very long and lean! She's on to eating cheese, yogurts, cookies, and all sorts of other fun foods. She loves cheese! Especially cheddar, just like her daddy! She pulls up on everything and the last two days she's started to let go and let herself balance. Its very exciting! She's all over the place, she can crawl around the loop of the house in record speed while the dogs chase her. I just love watching my little monkey grow. She's such a happy, opinionated, silly little girl. Happy 9 months my love! Cheers to a zillion more!

Giving new meaning to counting Sheep!

Most of you know my step-dad is the President of a Lamb company called "Superior Farms". Yes the "Baaaaaa" kind of lamb...the kind you eat. Well...for Christmas Savannah, my mom, and I were gifted 3 of our very own lamb!! Beatrice, Nicole, and Emily! We will be starting our own lamb farm very soon as 2 of them are VERY prego! We hope there are multiple lamb babies as this will be Savannah's first business venture! We're very excited about this new business and we were able to visit our new lambs while we were in Davis, Ca. We gave her a little people farm so she could get used to being a sheperd! You can tell Savannah was very happy about being the President of her own company!!!
