We had Savannahs First Birthday today! Man did we luck out! There was terrential rains and crazy storms headed our way but for some reason they diverted south and it stopped right before her party! All her best buddies came and they played and played! I loved watching all the babies, it was such a great time! Savannah had her first cake and icing and she loved it of course (chip off the ol' block). She was even sweet enough to share a few bites with me! We're so lucky to have great friends who helped with the party and came to wish Savannah a Happy Birthday! Thanks to everyone who came and made her day so special! Here are some pics from the day! Happy Birthday my little Love...we love you more than you know. I love watching you grow, learn, and become this amazing individual. How much you've grown in just one short year. To think just a year ago you were still in my tummy! I was counting down the days until I'd meet you. And when I did it was love at first sight...forever and always. kisses and hugs. Mommy and Daddy.

Oh my goodness, my little babes is going to be one in less than a week! I can hardly believe it. Her personality is really shining through, she really is Miss Independent. She'd rather play on her own and when she's ready for you to read her a book or show her how to do something...she'll let you know. If you disrupt this pattern, she'll let you know! Her favorite things at the moment are being outside! She'll crawl all over the place, rolling her favorite balls and babbling. She's definetly an outside girl. Taking showers and baths are the ultimate fun thing as well. The other day she wouldnt get out of the shower, she was determined to become a shriveled up raisin in there. And eating! Thanks to the baby cook and her new found freedom with finger foods, that girl loves to eat! She loves chicken, meatballs, cheese, and all kinds of fruit. We're still working on the milk thing. At the moment when she takes a sip, she makes a funny face and throws the sippy cup.

We went to the park last sunday with her buddy Sloan and her mom Robin. While the dads hashed it out on the tennis courts. We had a great time, the weather was fabulous and the new park is alway so much fun!

Savannahs 1st Birthday party is this Saturday at Rick and Christi's Lake house! Other than the forecast for rain, its going to be lots of fun! 10 of her best buddies are coming and their parents too of course! My mom (nana) is flying in as we speak to celebrate as well! This weekend is going to be lots of fun!

Quiet Reading time to Baby Gym!

Whoa, I think I'm having blogger withdrawals! I was in New York for 8 days and I arrived home last Wednesday and didn't have a free moment to post. Did you miss us??

Man o Man was that a LONG trip. I HATED being away from Kevin and Savannah that long but it turned out to be a great bonding time for them both. He said he enjoyed having all of her attention focused on him!

I was excited to go to Baby Gym on Thursday as this was our last class :( Savannah is a pro at her forward rolls and cruising through the tunnels. I brought my camera to capture it all. There are several classes that go on at the same time and the All star junior high girls were loving her. After every tumble she'd crawl over to them for some love.
