REPEAT AFTER ME!

Ate wayyy too much...Still eating leftovers...still loving it....know I'm gaining weight...don't care!

That about sums up our Turkey day! We had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving. I survived my first time hostessing the evening and I loved it! I dusted off the old china, ironed the table cloths (ok Haydee helped) and set the table. I had soo much fun doing it I invited everyone over for an early Christmas here on the 20th! (Since we'll be in Cali for the real deal) I loved having everyone here sitting at the table and sharing a meal. We laughed and laughed and enjoyed the company. We really have a lot to be thankful for! I bought Savannah her first "dessert peach cobbler" baby food as a treat after her regular food and that girl LOVED it! She was all over that spoon, and was mad when I wasn't going fast enough! We got some pretty funny pics of that.

The next morning we set out for Macon to spend the day and night with the Whelchel's and their adorable kids Emme and Jackson. I can't believe how big they'd gotten! Savannah was smitten with Jackson and loved all the hugs and kisses Emme showered her with. It was so neat to see her interact with them. It was great to see Lee and Kristen and their new home. It's stunning of course. So although we miss them dearly and now they live so far, we can see they have quite a wonderful life down in Macon. So we vowed to keep up the visits...plus we're all renting a house with the Willis's too for a week in July in Watercolor, Florida. SOOOO looking forward to that! It was really a great time. We were also able to see Santa while we were in Macon! Bass Pro shops is right next to their house, we were so lucky! No line at all! Savannah thought Santa was pretty neat looking, and his beard totally intrigued her. He was a very real looking Santa, real beard and all! It was a great time! Can't wait to go back!

What a fabulous long weekend. Wish we had 4 day weekends all the time! I loved spending extra time with my little bean and Kevin. Wish we weren't going back to work tomorrow. BUT its only 23 days until we head west! WOOHOOO!
Happy Thanksgiving all! Enjoy the pics!

It's the happiest time of the Yearrrrrrr!

Mommy and Savannah in front of our tree!

Elmo is in the tree! Silly dad! He looks scared and Savannah looks confused. Priceless!

Weeee!

My happy girl
Here are some new vids.
This is of Savannah and I playing peek-a-boo with her silks. This is her favorite game!

We also have a game where she plays and checks to see if I'm watching her, if I am she cracks up laughing...love it.

I have been largely unsuccesful at capturing her real crawling but her army crawl is just as cute. She finally does it towards the end of this video.

Trying to eat the camera...

She pick up her butt in this one but not for long.

Our little bean is getting so big. She was sitting in her high chair last night just talking away as I got her dinner ready. Kevin and I had the same thought at the same time "she's getting SO big so fast!" she's not a little baby anymore. Her personality shows through more and more and I just love watching her learn new things. I'll keep at it and I hope to get a video of her crawling for real. I swear she does it...just not long enough for me to grab the camera!
We're having everyone over to our house for Thanksgiving this year. I'm very excited about it. I'm finally going to put that wedding china to good use! I love to decorate and entertain so I'm really looking forward to it.
Then on Friday we're driving down to Macon, Ga to stay with the Whelchels. They moved about a year ago (sniffle) and we have yet to see their new home! Not to mention we haven't seen their kids in wayyy to long! We're really looking forward to spending some time with them!
I hope everyone has a great holiday!
Happy Turkey Day!
Love to all!

Our week in Pictures...

Swinging with Mommy

First time going down the slide!
This slide stuff is fun!

Weeee!
I love the swings!

Swinging with Dad

She's going to hate me for this when she gets older I know...

SO BIG! (Elmo book)

"I know you want some of my cracker"

"Ok I'll share, you can have the piece stuck to my pj's"

Very fun week in the Palmer house. Savannah is getting very mobile these days. If she's not attempting to crawl she's rolling all over the floor. She'll get on all floors and rock back and forth, then she'll launch herself at whatever toy she wants. Its pretty funny. I can tell its very tiring for her because she eventually flops down in exhaustion.
We went to the park again last weekend. She just loves the swings! She screeches in joy, everyone at the park thought she was hilarious! Of course we did too.
Savannah and I woke up early on Saturday and did our Christmas shopping. When I told people I was doing my Christmas shopping with a baby I got a lot of sideways looks. But I know my girl and she was fabulous! We shopped all day from 9am to 6pm and she didn't cry once. She was all smiles for those that came by to see her, and she took her afternoon nap in her stroller. I was so glad I had a shopping pal, and the Christmas shopping went seamlessly.
Hope you enjoy this weeks pictures!
Love,
Jennifer

How did I leave out this picture?

I was looking through my October pics and I saw this one. I was thinking, How did I leave this one out of my last post! This picture is SO Savannah. All giggly, happy...just the happiest kid ever.

Don't you wish you felt like this all the time??

She loves to be on the swings! We definitely have a dare devil on our hands. Happy Friday!

Happy girl!Savannah and Daddy on the train!

Hello all!
What a wonderful 5 days we've had! On Wednesday Meme and Baba flew in from So cal to see Savannah. They could not believe how much she's grown since they last saw her in July! She was her usual chipper happy self and they just ate it up. We took some great pictures at the local park (her first time on the baby swing!), playing with her toys, posing in her pumpkin garb, and of course on Halloween! She got an early Christmas present of a super duty John Deere wagon which we were able to use to pull her around downtown to "trick or treat" on Halloween!! She loved it! She was the hit of the trick or treaters!

And I'm sure most of you got the cards we sent out with Savvy in her Lobster costume and we LOVED that one. But my friend Rachel was sweet enough to send her little girls Ladybug costume for Savannah to wear as well. It was forcasted to be a tad chilly so this costume was PERFECT.

On saturday we went on the Blue Ridge scenic railway, the fall colors were amazing. And although the day started a tad cold it ended up being beautiful!

It was a fantastic weekend with the family...wish it could have been longer!!

On a fun milestone, Savannah crawled today! She's not "crawling" but she got on all fours and lunged forward, she would do it over and over. SO cute. I don't think it will be long for us...eee!

Sorry for posting a zillion pics we took sooo many cute ones over the course of the weekend it was tough to narrow it down!

Enjoy!
Love,
