30 week Belly Pics!

Hello! Here I am at 30 weeks, getting big! Don't mind boss in the picture he can't stand to be further than 5 feet from me so its hard to take pictures! LOL! I love my Bossy Boo!

I think you can tell how tired I am in this pic. I realized I hadn't taken a belly shot in like 8 weeks so I forced myself to take this one. We have a Dr. appt tomorrow just a check up but its still exciting, we'll get to hear her heartbeat!

Baby Shower in San Diego!

We had the BEST baby shower in San Diego! Everything was decorated sooo cute, all pink and chocolate of course! From the flowers, to the cake, to the clothesline of little pink baby clothes! Seeing all my family and friends from San Diego was so wonderful! I can't believe that the next time I see most of you I'll be toting Savannah! EeeeEeeeE! Savannah is a very lucky girl, we could never have imagined the generousity of our friends and family! Her closet is packed with beautiful clothes, and she's well on her way to having everything a baby could ever need!
Someone asked me what my favorite gift was...I think I rattled off a million things and that person was sad they asked so I wont start that now...everything was my favorite!
I did receive a very special gift from my Grandma...about 5 years ago my Grandma realized with her failing eyesight she wouldn't be able to crochet a blanket for my baby when I decided to have one (note: she's made one for all 9,000 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. YES our family is that big). My mom and her made a deal that if she made a blanket then my mom would keep it and give it to me when that time came. Fast forward 5 years to my shower and my mom had a very special gift for me. I couldn't hold back the tears as I held the precious pink, green, and yellow blanket made with love by my Grammie. I was fortunate enough to be able to tell her Thank you in person that night. I've posted a pic of us below, isn't she the cutest thing EVER??

Thank you everyone for all the lovely gifts! I can't even Thank you enough! Enjoy the slideshow of the baby shower! Thank you again to Michelle, and Stacy for throwing us such a memorable shower! Christina thanks for all your behind the scenes help...and Mom and Gina too for helping on the day of the shower! What wonderful memories I'll have!

Savannahs 4D Ultrasound Slideshow

New York!

I had a great trip to NY, it was a very productive trip and I was able to see KK! Katie picked the cutest restaurant by her house called Lil Frankies. They had the BEST italian everrr and the ambiance was perfect for us to catch up! KK thanks for coming out in the rain, even though you were sick, and for an awesome night! I have the best friends! I'm back in town for tonight but tomorrow we're off to San Diego for our first baby shower! And we're getting our 4D ultrasound of Savannah on Friday! I can't wait to see what our little girl looks like! We should get plenty of pictures and a DVD of the entire thing. I'll share as soon as I can.

First Childbirth Class and Doctor's Appt

Hello!
Lots going on this week! We had our first Childbirth class on Tuesday night. It was a great class, we really learned a lot. I know Kevin was less than thrilled about attending but it ended up being really educational and fun. I was so impressed with how into it he got, he's going to be an amazing partner through all this! He did all the breathing like a pro and of course made sure I was doing it correctly. He got to practice his massage skills too which I'll be making him practice at home often...he he. We also learned some great exercises that should make labor easier and *hopefully* less painful. We have 3 more classes and I'm really looking forward to them!
Today I had my 28 week checkup at the Dr. It went really well! Gained another 3lbs and I was able to hear Savannahs precious heartbeat. They also gave me my glucose test, where I had to drink this really sugary stuff and sit for an hour until they took blood. Then they gave me a Rhogam shot, which NO JOKE was the most painful shot I've ever had. They give it to you in your hip too, OUCH! It burned and ached like crazy. Not fun at all! But of course its all worth it! I filled out my pre-registration papers for the hospital, that was eye opening. I was thinking wow, the time is really coming! Ahhhh! (I have moments like that sometimes)
I'm traveling to New York on Sunday for a brief trip...trying to get ready for our big market in February before I get too huge to do anything. Looks like its supposed to snow up there...not good for me since I haven't bought a maternity coat. I'll be scarfing it around the belly.
It's been like Christmas all over again when I come home each day! Gifts are arriving from people who are coming to the shower in San Diego. Its so exciting, I can't help but play with everything. Thank you to everyone who has sent such a lovely gift. Savannah is going to be such a lucky girl with all the aunties and uncles who love her!
Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday, TGIF! Miss you and talk to you all soon!

Hey Everyone!

Hope you had a great New Year! We had Monica and Jack here and Brooke and Adam. So I had great company in my 2 preggo friends! We ate a great dinner, played the "Newlywed Game" and BARELY made it to midnight! We kissed our hubbies at 12 and were in bed 5 minutes later! Don't you wish you were here? We had a great time though talking about...well duh babies, and just hanging out. Here are some pics!
