Prima Ballerina

Ballet and Tap has been on tap every Wednesday afternoon since August...these girls really tried hard. I wasn't sure if Savannah would be in sync with the others, boy was I wrong! She took the stage to announce herself on the mic with pride and confidence. As each girl came up to say their name most of them whispered into the mic and meakly said their name. Then came our girl "SAVANNAH PAAAAAAAAAAAALMER!" she yelled into the mic as the entire theater roared in laughter. Then she was supposed to go to a mark on the stage do a move of her choice and walk off the stage. Well you can imagine she would be original. She went to her mark, did an arabesque and then shook her butt as she walked off...people were crying in their seats. I was getting texts from all around the theater, Kevin and I were in tears laughing. Wow she is such a performer!! Then the came out and did their ballet routine which was super cute, and then they did their tap routine. I was so impressed with what they had learned this year!!

Then each girl had a chance to sing on the mic a song of their choice. It seemed like 45 of the 54 girls sang Twinkle Twinkle...Savannah grabbed the mic and decided on her ABCs. She sang with such clarity and poise I was brought to tears.

Last Stinger Tball Game

Oh the ending of T-ball season is bittersweet! With rain out makeups, t-shirt orders, snack schedules...I was actually a bit relieved to see it end. We had our last game on Thursday with perfect weather...finally! Savannah really loved playing this season. I see coaching in Kevins future for a LONG time! he he!

"A Day at the Beach" Parade

The end of the year parade at AJM preschool is always a spectacle. I said last year...no where in America other than in Calhoun can you shut down major roads with a police escort so Preschoolers can parade down the street in their beach gear! It was a cute parade as always! School's out for Summer!!! Let the summer camp madness begin!

Haydee and Rosa

I have never done a post about my blessed caregivers for the kids. Haydee has been with Savannah since she was 4 months old. She never takes a sick day and loves my kids just as I would when I'm at work. She seriously keeps my life in order...The past 2 months her sister Rosa has been with us visiting. It's been amazing to have her here...she's just as sweet as Haydee and the kids love her to pieces. Haydee went home with her sister for a month and I'm totally lost with out her...I am counting down to her return...18 days...

Big Check Up and BEACH fun!

Our sweet babies had their big check ups last week! Savannah had her big 4 year check up and and Easton had his 1 year old visit. Because Savannah will be entering into Pre-K she has to have a battery of tests to make sure she is all set to go to the big new school. She had an eye test, a hearing test, and of a much more in depth physical than normal. She of course passed with flying colors and is a 37lbs and 42 1/2 inches! Thats over 100th percentile for height and 75th for weight. Such a big girl! She had to have two shots and they really took it out of her. That night she went in the living room to watch TV and when she was quiet for a bit I went in the room and found her fast asleep on the couch...poor sweet girl. And Big E had his 1st year visit, he's a whopping 27.6lbs and 32inches long..yep over the 100th percentile for both. Have I mentioned he's a big boy?

Vaccines are SO not cool. In fact they make her fall asleep at weird times. 

And her yearly class photo...group photos have proved to be a problem for us..well Savannah. Mainly because Savannah is doing something goofy in almost ALL of them that we get...Take a peak at the one below. When I asked Savannah what she was doing she said coughing. Who decided this was the BEST class photo? I want to know who decided that. At least she wasnt putting her hands through her pants like last time.

And the fun stuff! ThE BEACH!! On Thursday after a half day of meetings in Atlanta Kevin picked me up with his dad and the kids and we made a bee line for Watercolor Florida. The weather did not disappoint and the kids had a BALL!

The day before we left Marley gave us a scare and had a very bad stomach ache and was shaking. We took her to the vet and they made her all better. This is her on her happy ride home :) Love my girl!

About an hour after we got to the beach...this is us on the beach HAPPY!!!
