34 Week Belly Pics & Dr. Appt Update

Here are the Gigantic Belly Pics for 34 Weeks...can I get any bigger? Sadly we know I will. We had our check up this week. Unfortunately Savannah is still breech, they told me to start looking at dates for a c section. We'll likely plan it for March 26-28th. We'll find out what days the Dr. is available and then get it scheduled. Not exactly the Natural Child Birth plan we had in mind but we'll deal! We're still crossing our fingers that she'll turn but the later we get the less likely it is...turn Savannah turn! We miss you and love you all!

Maternity Session!

Hello Everyone,
We had an amazing photographer Sara come over, and she did a maternity session here at the house. Here are some pics below and she's also made us a slideshow of the best images to a song we picked out!

I'll get a link soon to all the images, and I'll update this post when I get it.

I had to shrink the images to allow them to fit...if you want to see them in full size go to: www.saradharperblog.com

Calhoun Baby Shower Pics!

Here are the pics from the Baby Shower we had last weekend. What a great time! The shower hosts; my mom, Darlene, Christi, and Marie did a Fabulous job with everything! The theme was pink polka dots and bed time stories! You can obviously tell I love reading and can't wait to read to our little girl. The invite asked everyone to bring a book instead of a card and attach it to the top of the gift! It was such a great idea! Savannahs library is extensive already! We have books to read to her forever! Everyone who came really put a lot of thought into the books they chose, and there is a special note inside each book! We will cherish them forever. The food was delish, and the pink polka dot cake was AMAZING! We even had little pink personalized M&Ms that said "Savannah Nicole" or "Baby Palmer"!!! The favors were so cute, they were metal moon bookmarks enclosed in a mini story book! SO great! What a memorable shower! It was such a great time. I was so glad my mom was able to fly in for a short weekend to celebrate with us. I put her to work in Savannahs room helping me organize everything because next time Grandma is here, Savannah will be on her way! YAY! Thanks again to everyone who helped with the shower, it was wonderful! Enjoy the slide show!

P.S. Our best friends Rocky and Kim were engaged on February 14th!! CONGRATULATIONS WE LOVE YOU AND ARE SOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU! YAY!!!!!

Home Sweet Home!

I flew in from NY last night, it's sooo good to be home! This trip really wiped me out BIG TIME! Market went really well, and I was able to have dinz with KK and Alyssa! We ate at yet another adoreable little italian place (Savannah's choice of course) and we were able to catch up! Minus the crazy snow/sleet and mean cab driver who charged Alyssa $10 bucks to take me 5 blocks it was A-Mazing! They got Savannah the CUTEST "I heart NY" little pink onesie. Sure to be her fave outfit! After all if she's half the shopper that I am she'll LOVE New York!
I had a Dr. appt this morning and told her of my frequent contractions and heart palputations thinking it was nothing. In fact I had a contraction while she was pushing on my belly to figure out Savannahs position (still breech by the way...we know she's stubborn like her mama!) Anyway long story short she had me take this test to see if I was at risk to go into early labor. It came back negative, YAY! So Savannah will stay cooking for at least 2 more weeks! The annoying heart palputations are all the time. So Im seeing a cardiologist on Tuesday to make sure my ticker is handling Savannah ok. Its usually just the stress of the increased blood flow but they want to make sure. Oh ya and I totally have cankles by the end of the day. So not fun...I swear I wish my Uggs were considered appropriate work attire. I might keep them under my desk and slip them on when Im sitting here...no one will know right? That is until I forget and walk into a meeting with them on. That would be really cute.
Other than that we're doing great, and almost no weight gain the past 2 weeks! We're going to catch up on our much needed R&R this weekend...we're tuckered out!
Love, Jen, Kevin and Savannah

Tour of L&D

We took our tour of Labor and Delivery last night! What a great hospital! They have just finished some major new construction and renovations the place is amazing! Complete with a deli and coffee bar! Not quite Starbucks but I'll make it.
We saw the 3 rooms I'd be in through the course of the delivery and recovery. The Labor and Delivery room is great, it has its own private waiting area for the family which Kevin and I decided just isn't quite big enough to accomodate us all but we'll make it work! The nursery was really nice, and the recovery rooms were great too. The lactation consultant gave us our tour and she was really nice. I was happy to be able to meet her in advance. Kevin was so cute, the nurse said that some moms and dads choose to send their babies back to the nursery to get some rest and he goes "no way, I'll hold Savannah while Jennifer sleeps!" ha ha! He already can't let her go. He melts my heart. Then I was telling him that he'd probably go home to shower and see the dogs while we're in the hospital for the couple of days after delivery. He said "no way he'd stay with us and he could send someone else home to check on things!" I love it! The tour was great, Im so happy we were able to do that. Not long now and we'll be there for real! Love, Jen Kevin and Savannah

New Updates in Savannah's Nursery!

The muralist came today and painted in Savannah's nursery! I am sooo happy with what she did! It's the perfect little girls room! Enjoy the pics! I can't wait to get our baby girl in here!
