12 Weeks 4 Days Bump Photos!

Baby P Ultrasound Photos! Sept 25th, 2007

Look at Baby P! I had my Dr. appt yesterday and everything went great! I've only gained 1lb 6oz so I was very excited considering I feel like I've gained 100lbs. All the lab work came back normal except I have type O- blood. Kevin now has to get his blood type drawn to see if he has a negative blood type. If he's a positive then I have to get this shot called Rogam to keep my body from building antibodies against the babies blood. Figures I hate shots! So we'll know more once Kevin gets that done. No harm to me or the baby its just to keep our bodies from fighting eachother. I was lucky enough to get another ultrasound done this morning to verify the due date. Like I'd said before they'd moved my due date from the 4th of April to the 13th of April. Well the ultrasound today said the baby will be due on the 5th of April. So 4/5/2008 is the new due date! So Im back to being 12 weeks and several days! YAY! Im through the 1st trimester wooohoo! So about the pictures, watching Baby P move around was amazing I could see him/her open its hand, stretch out its legs, arch its back...just wiggle like crazy! It was amazing! In the first picture on the top Brooke mentioned that you can see its mouth and it looks like its smiling! Happy Baby already! In the photo on the right you can see its hand up by its face. Then in the photo on the bottom you can see its leg stretched upwards. It better stretch out now since there wont be much room later! Don't you love the little button nose! September 21st-23rd

Hello!

We had a great weekend visiting with friends! Lee and Kristen came over with their little darlings Emme and Jack. See photo below. We haven't seen them in forever, and they hadn't been to our house in Calhoun. It was a long overdue gathering! The kids are as cute as ever and hilarious. We got Emme a princess dress up outfit for her birthday and she wanted to wear it to lunch at Cracker Barrel. She was the hit at the restaurant! Furry heels and all!

Saturday night we stayed home and watched the Georgia game. The Dawgs barely squeeked one by Alabama in OT, but it was a happy ending. Kevin took a photo of myself, Boss, and Marley cuddling up on the couch. Not long after I took a quick nap (it was halftime ok?).

Notice the drool spot on my leg from Boss, he was very comfortable. I've also attached a picture of Lady so she doesn't feel left out. She had conquered the new dog bed at the foot of the couch and she wasn't giving it up!

I have a Dr. appt today, but its just a check up. If I find out anything exciting or new I'll update tomorrow.

Oktoberfest & Anna Ruby Falls

We had a great fall weekend with Brooke and Adam! On Sunday we traveled to Helen, Ga a few hours from our house up in the mountains. The town is really cute, it's set up like an old German town with lots of crafty touristy stuff to look at. And of course I had to get a caramel apple, My FAVE ! Kevin had to have fudge and ice cream his fave! We were sparing no calories... We had lunch on the river and listened to some "rockin" German bands play some polka!

Afterwards we hiked up to see Anna Ruby Falls.

The weather was perfect, and it was sooo pretty! It was a beautiful hike (plus we needed to work off the fudge and ice cream). We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

10 Weeks! Baby Bump!

Ok you might wonder why Im at 10 weeks instead of 12...The Dr. decided to move my due date back to April 13th based on the size of Baby P at the first ultrasound. We'll know for sure at the 20 week ultrasound in November. Like my mom said "the baby will come when the baby is ready" but its still a pain to feel like your "re-living" a week and half. But anyway until then Im using the "new" due date. Here is the latest Bump photo, it doesn't look like much but it sure feels like it! Not a huge difference from the last time. I've heard the bump really starts to show at about 15 weeks! I'm feeling a ton better these days, very little morning sickness and I'm back to eating normal foods! Thank god for Taco Bell...OH and the most important thing. We heard the heartbeat with our home doppler! It was very exciting, especially since that day I'd had a small panic attack about not finding the heartbeat yet. The heartbeat was very strong at 164! It sounds like a little train..."chuga chuga chuga" and its incredibly fast. Amazing and So exciting!

"Its gonna be a socca player...yes it is...yes it is!" -only a few of you will get this (small inside joke from the U of A days)

Anniversary in Athens!

We had a GREAT anniversary weekend in Athens with our friends Brooke and Adam! See the pics of the awesome tailgate Brooke and I put together. (Mostly Brooke...event planning is in her genes!) We had a great time! We started tailgating at 12 and the game was at 6:45. Luckily the weather was great (overcast and breezy) so it was a great afternoon and night...however Im still recovering!

Oh ya, and I was lucky enough to run into a UGA look alike in our hotel lobby, and I just HAD to get a picture with her. Her name is Scarlet and she's the cutest snorty little bulldog! We also went to the Braves vs. Mets game on Sunday. Unfortunately the Braves didn't fair as well as the Bulldogs but we still had fun. Kevin got Baby P some cute Braves onesies...this baby has its sports apparel all set! I think the baby has turned Kevin into a shopaholic...I love it!
