You know when you have one of those days where you pity yourself...poor me...woe is me, life isn't fair...I need to win the lottery...if only I didnt have to do this...and then something smacks you in the forehead like those V8 commercials... *DOINK* So I was having that kinda day today...I had a serious case of the "mondays". I wanted to sleep more when the alarm went off, I took an extra long shower just standing there prolonging the envevitable, and I had an extremely hard time saying goodbye to Savannah. I just didn't want to do "it" whatever "it" was. Pretty sure "it" was work...he he. Anyway on my way home from work I was listening to Dr. Laura who although shrewd, brash, and what can I say a total BIATCH, totally put things in perspective. She did her "daily email" where someone speaks to a previous caller who focuses on bickering instead of the important things in life. The writer goes on to say she wishes she could bicker with her husband but she can't because although he was healthy he died of a sudden heart attack, or the next caller who recently lost a child. SO I'm reduced to tears driving home thinking...and I was complaining??? Seriously complaining about WHAT? I walk in the door hug the love of my life, his mom, and my baby and vow to never pity myself again.
On a much lighter note...
