Savannah has been attending City Ballet for two years. She does ballet and tap once a week all year. She had her recital last weekend and did amazing! The girls all danced to various Beatle songs which was pretty cute. Some of the songs definitely brought a tear to my eyes. Savannah is very good at dance and I'm not being biased. She remembers the routines completely and is always right on queue. I love their aqua colored outfits, perfect for our blue eyed girl. The day of the recital we had a terrible storm, like a deluge. It was fun getting a made up 5 year old in a pretty outfit into the studio without looking like a drowned rat. That's why she has her rain boots on. We did a little photo shoot on the porch before we headed out. I love Easton posing with us. We had Aunt Christi come over to watch E while we went since sitting through a recital with him would have been impossible.
Miss Larae has the girls come on stage and say their name. Last year she screamed her name into the mic this year she whispered it..so funny. We were proud of our big girl! Always performing...however she informed us in the car on our way home that she was done with dance. She said she didn't want to do it anymore. Oh well...Now she's decided she wants to do Martial arts so stay tuned for our little karate kid!
