Savannah's 1 Year Photos and something funny!

Sara came on Saturday for Savannah's 1 year photos! Savannah was all smiles, and it was so fun to watch her shine. I couldn't help but think back to her first shoot at just 6 days old. How itty bitty she was.**sniffle** time sure does fly. Ok enough SAPPY-ness. Enjoy the slideshow!

Oh and I just had to post this picture....we were at Walmart the week before Easter and a lady says..."oh you just HAVE to get her picture taken with the Easter bunny! He's in the back and it's free!" I was like "ok what the heck..."so we go back and when I see the "easter bunny" I thought for sure Savannah was gonna SCREAM and cling to me for dear life. I mean is this the Scariest freaking bunny you've ever seen? All the way down to the icky polka dotted vest! He looks like he's about to eat her face! You can see savannah's hand is in motion. She was saying "uh uh mom get your butt back over here! Don't leave me with this crack head bunny!"

Note to self and to anyone that cares...do not take your kid to Walmart for any free photos.

Happy Easter!!

Kisses from Daddy!
I do what?

Off they go! 780 eggs hidden in the pasture!

Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't put all my eggs in one basket?

Cutie Patootie

What Easter is complete without baby chicks?

Larry and Savannah, he helped her find her first egg!

Larry and Savannah ready to hunt!

Kind of a random shot, but what a chubber! This is her cheesey smile!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday! We went to the Thomasons to the annual Egg hunt at their house. The Thomasons are the big egg farmers of Calhoun. Kevin worked there growing up packing eggs, and his dad and Larry were college roomates. Kevin actually used to hunt eggs in this very place when he was a kid! It was SO much fun. And let me tell you, these eggs are the REAL deal. No plastic stuff here! The family boiled and dyed over 800 eggs for the hunt! There were special golden eggs to that had a reward. And of course the kid with the most eggs found won a prize as well. Savannah found 3, we were very proud! Not the winner this year but it wont take long I'm sure. She got the hang of it pretty fast!

The real reason I think she was a pro at it, is because my mom got her these "hide and seek" eggs. They are Sooooo cute! You hide them and then push the on button...they start giggling and saying "im over here!", "come find me", and "im hiding!" She loves to find them. I think we hid the eggs a hundred times this weekend. And she never gets bored with it. Thanks nana!

I've been meaning to download this video for awhile...look how the Havertys furniture commercial puts her in a trance. She will stop whatever she's doing to watch it. I think its the song...I sing that to her when she gets cranky and "zip" she's quiet. Weird huh?

Love the Palmers!

Shhh don't tell...mommy left work early to play!

The weather was FAB yesterday and my concrete cell was keeping me from enjoying the glorious sunshine. So by 4:30 (I know im such a rebel, i left 30 min early) I couldn't take it anymore and I sped home to my meepers. We both changed into our summer attire, grabbed a picnic blanket, snacks, and bubbles and headed to our favorite park! We had such a good time! We even ran into our friend Autumn and her girls Kinsley and Marley! I'm so glad we were able to do that because today we're back to Tornado watches and Severe thunderstorms. Watch out Dorothy and the Wizard! We might be coming to visit really soon!

Enjoy the pics from yesterday! Can't you just FEEL the sunshine??

Well Baby Check up! 1 YEAR!

We had our 1 year check up today! We were thrilled because Daddy was able to come and share in the excitement of the 1 YEAR appointment !! Savannah is once again in the 95th percentile for length and 50th for weight! She's 31 inches and 21.6lbs, such a big girl! This explains why she's in 18-24 months clothes! She's very very tall which we're thankful for! The dr. was impressed that she's drinking 16-19oz of whole milk a day, wooohooo! HUGE improvement from one week ago. I thought she'd never drink it. Thanks to the 3rd new kind of sippy and advice from my sister Christina we tried a new straw sippy. It worked like a charm! But the cold turkey no more formula or bottles really proved to work well for us. She's such a great eater! She LOVES everything! We are truly lucky for our wonderfully healthy baby girl! She had two major shots today which was terrible, even though I do an alternative vax schedule at 1 year you get two! It was terrible, and the tears and crying was a lot for me to bear. It made me wonder who its worse for, her or me (well I think it might be worse for Kevin he couldnt stand to stay in the room and listen to her cry)? I think what bothers me more is thinking of all the terrible preservatives and additives in that shot that are supposedly in there to make her immune to bad diseases! I can't wait until the day they come up with the "organic" shot. Hmmm thats quite an idea! Just checking in to brag about our healthy little girl! Love always, a proud momma and daddy!

Birthday Week!

In my family we celebrate Birthday week! That way all the fun and excitement of your birthday doesn't fizzle out after one day! So we had a very fun week celebrating our little one. Savannahs Grandma and Grandad (Darlene and Jimmy) got her a very cool tricycle! Thanks to Kevins handy-ness he had it together in a flash! She's got the hang of holding on, and I must say that helmet is the cutest thing I've ever seen. We got some fun new bath toys from our friends the Richardsons. The dolphins sing in the water! She loves it! And I attached some pics of Brody and Savannah playing from the past weekend as well. She loved having a playmate, I wish they lived closer! Hope you enjoy the pics of the week!
I can ride! Love my new trike!

How cute is this helmet?

Weeeee!

On a walk in the wagon with my pals Stella and Patsy!

Pure joy in the tub!

Love her butt!
It was love at first site with Baby Stella. Here she is kissing her while she's still in the box! Thanks nana!
