Yacht Week!! Dubrovnik, Croatia to Athens, Greece! PART 1

Oh my Greecian Goodness! What a TRIP! Where to start??? KP and I headed off to Croatia about a week and a half ago on the vacation of a lifetime. The flight wasn't bad for me...I slept after some movies, wine, and ambien. Before we knew it we were in in Frankfurt. Frankfurt we met with Nana and Grandpa and we were off to Croatia! Croatia is WOW...beyond wow. The water crystal blue (a tid bit cold), the Old town breathtaking, and the food delectable! Here are some pics from Croatia!

Sea Dream we'll see you soon!

After 2 wonderful days in Dubrovnik we happily loaded up on Sea Dream to champs and more champs, and well...more champs. Here we are very happy to be at the drill.

The first day was HEAVEN. The deck on the Sea Dream missed me obvi and I couldn't wait to resume my chair. That's my empty chair you see...hello lover.

On our ride to the Corinth Canal the most amazing Dolphins put on a show for us next to the ship! Awesomeness!

Family & Fireworks

Every July 4th Baba, Meme, and Hunter come visit. This is always a special trip because Hunter and Savannah bond so much. He's SO good with kids (two younger brothers at home) and very easy going. We always plan days of fun. They flew in this year on the 4th so right when they got there we got ready to head to the lake for our annual cook out and fireworks show! On Friday we decided to head to White Water in Atlanta. 2 things I'll never forget about white water. 1. interesting bathing suits and characters 2. its over priced. We did learn the best investment was the Fast Past bands. We didn't wait in one line and were able to ride all the best rides! Savannah my gutsy girl wanted to do all the big slides ALONE. She made the height requirement but what we quickly learned is that most kids who are 42" tall aren't 4 they are probably 5. She rode them all and loved it until one crazy slide was covered and it went dark then splashed her into a big pool of gushing water. She was over the single slides without a tube after that :).  She would ride any of the big ones with us with her though. Love that crazy gutsy girl!

On Saturday we went to Chattanooga had lunch at the Boat House and went to the Chattanooga Aquarium. We have never been and I must say it is really impressive. There are two huge buildings one for river fish and one for ocean fish. There are a lot of hands on activities and the butterfly garden was sooo cool!

Sunday we decided to stay home and bust out every single water toy we had. First was the slip and slide. This concept was lost on Easton...he wanted to walk on it.

 The slide wanted him to slide...the slide won. EVERY TIME!

Savannah took command of the silly sprinkler and attacked everyone with it...Hunter thought it was fun. Easton...not so much.

It was a GREAT trip. Hunter and Savannah really love to play together. Kevin and I take off for Croatia tomorrow eeee! We'll be visiting the small greek isles, Turkey, and we'll end up in Athens. All aboard the amazing Sea Dream Yacht. Cannot wait! More pics of that vacay to come!
