"It's Yachting...not Cruising!" part I

That's the mantra of the Sea Dream Yacht club where we took the most FABULOUS vacation we've ever been on.  I'll start by telling you a few things about the yacht. The staff is amazing, right away they remember your name and start memorizing what your fave drink is, they even come by and clean your sunglasses. Our state room was really big compared to other cruises I've been on. The amenities were TOP notch, food 5 star, and the locations we visited were simply breathtaking. We started in St. Johns, went to Montserrat, Isles De Saintes, Soffreire, St Lucia, Bequia, The Grenadines, and ended in Barbados. So Basically we started in the Virgin Islands and ended in the Carribean. Did you know they drive on the other side of the road there? That took some getting used too for sure!

On the yacht with us compliments of my mom and Ed were Stacy and Gabe (my sista and her hubs), Daniel (my step bro), and Michael and Lauren (my step bro and his gf). WE HAD A BALL, which I'll show in the pics below.

We immediately found a cool bar in St. Johns that we had a few beers at before they let us on the yacht. The bar was called "Cheers"!

The place was so picturesque...there were colorful shots to take like this everywhere. It was like a constant postcard!

Here is a view of the yacht from the back of the yacht. We spent most of our time on the left where my mom is. That whole row of chairs was pretty much ours. Isn't it amazing?

Teeth!

Easton broke his first tooth today! It started yesterday and today it had made its full appearance! He wasnt fussy at all! Love my boy!

Lil E isn't so little anymore...

Our little chunkster is almost 7 months old! Wow! He's constantly babbling these days saying "dada", "baba", and "mama". Contrary to what you may have thought we think he may have my chatterbox ways. At his check up he weighed a whopping 20lbs (80th percentile) and is 30inches long (98th percentile!) he's sooo tall its insane! The nurse measured him twice because she didn't believe it. He rolls back to front, front to back, and loves to play on a blanket and check out his toys. Most nights he sleeps through the night waking around 5:30 or 6 to take a bottle and then he goes back to sleep for an hour or so. He's getting a bit better with the food thing, but certainly not his favorite activity. He LOVES his jumparoo and will sit in that for almost an hour...this is when I can actually get something done! He's just a growing boy and its so fun to watch! Here are our family pics that Andy took last month! They are amazing!

Halloween 2011!

Savvy is in school everyday this year so her party was actually on Halloween. For some insane reason I signed up to be the parent organizer of the party and do the decor. As the day neared and my work schedule was crammed I barely managed to pull it off. Somehow it all worked out...here are pics of her class party! We had Pizza, goldfish, grapes, and monster cupcakes! And of course copious amounts of candy! (even though I assigned two parents the duty of bringing treat bags which was clearly spelled out in the letter, 8 parents brought them....*sigh*)

And trick or treating...this is the first year we've done the real deal. Our downtown has a trick or treat that we've gone to previously when Savannah was too young to care and we felt the need to parade our kid around in an outfit for our own self indulgence. Oh come on admit it, you did it too! This year Tommy and Cindy invited us over to their house in a great neighborhood for treating. Because the entire town knows this the neighborhood it is ridiculously crowded and the police actually have to provide crowd control. No joke. It was super fun and it wasn't terribly cold. Most people sat in their driveways in lawn chairs to pass out the candy and it was cute because a lot of the adults were dressed up!
