.: Turkey trot to So Cal

Savvys class had a concert at the school just before Turkey day. Her class dressed up as pilgrims. Aren't they adorable? Some classes were indians. They sang a bunch of songs and had silly little dances to go with them. It was precious!

Then on Thanksgiving we hopped on a plane bound for Sunny San Diego. The weather did not dissapoint and we even had lunch outside by the pool and the kids swam. Yes we swam in November. It was just gorgeous out! Meme and Baba had the house decorated to the 9's for Christmas. We thought we'd fit in a Christmas while we were there. Stacy, Gabe, and the kids came over for Turkey day. And Nana and Pappap both felt well enough to spend dinner with us. It was a fabulous evening sharing stories, and saying what we were thankful for. Pappap totally got me all choked up. It was so nice to have them both with us. Savannah played her heart out with her cousins. Zoe was great with Savannah and played all the silly games Savannah wanted to play. At one point she was on her hands and knees acting like a cat...ha!On Friday we kept it mellow and went to the club for lunch and swam, the kids played and played. kevin, Dad, and Brandon played a round at the club. Friday night Rick and Anne, Brandon and Kim came over and we celebrated Christmas with Meme and Baba and ate a delish Prime Rib.

Savannah was so into opening presents this year. Everyone she opened she'd say "OH MAN I WAS WISHING FOR THIS!" Then one time she said " I was wishing for this in my bubble above my head!" She said it so sincerely it reduced us all to tears...You know in illustrations and comics where they show the thought bubble over a characters head. That's what she meant. Hilarious! I think Meme and Baba did a good job with the gifting! What a night...

Oh and our luck E came down with a cold on the day we got there. This always happens. So he wasn't much into eating. After 2 days of no food I was worried so I said "will you let Baba feed you"?" He said yes...and then he ate 2 huge things of food. He really loves his Baba. He wouldn't let him put him down. Cracked me up!

Savvy and Cousin Zoe

Me and my seester. I love her so much. She's inspired me so much in the past year. She set her mind to losing weight and getting fit and she looks FABULOUS! Fabulous doesn't even seem to do it justice. She's just gorgeous inside and out and I'm so lucky to have her in my life. Look at you sassy sister in your skinny jeans...MWAH! Oh and #rolltide
